I’ve resigned myself to the fact that New Year’s Eve and I aren’t the best of friends.
So this year, to lessen the pressure of venue/dress/resolutions of this angst-fuelled day I’m putting all my efforts into perfectly decorated nails. If all else goes kaput then at least I might have fulfilled one thing successfully.
Deborah Lippmann’s Boom Boom Pow (with 24 karat glitter flecks no less) has been on my covet list for long enough. Gently gooped upon a black or pale pink lacquer base (Essie’s Mademoiselle mimics my ‘true’ nail tone), this is my idea of a party nail.
